The Kaona family is growing!

Word is spreading that Kaona is a little bit nuts (in French, we say “avoir un grain”!) with a fractal mind, a chaotic streak, and a knack for high-voltage experimentation. So we cooked up three new homemade modules packed with all of that…

Sisyphus

A brand-new concept for a stereo granular filter. Picture this: multi-grain processing, multiple filter modes specially developed for this module (lowpass, highpass, bandpass, notch, peak, comb, karplus, ladder), all organized around evolving, customizable patterns. A joyful sonic laboratory—perfect for unrestrained experimentation. And we might not be the only mad scientists here! Early units are set for March (an Earlybird release is coming soon).

Joey

For random, fractal, and Euclidean gates. A generator of events that’s both controllable and chaotic, random yet organized (we can’t let the gates do absolutely everything on their own, right?). Planned release in February.

Voltator

Four channels of transposition, addition, subtraction, and voltage manipulation, with a built-in voltmeter. Because music can always use some tension—and we do mean actual voltage too! The rightful successor to Transpos. Available in April.
